Vidalia

Yesterday in Vidalia GA was the annual Onion Festival. My friend Myriam wanted to go check it out so all of us hopped into the truck and off we went. It's about an hour and a half from here. We were all expecting to see nothing but fields of onions, of course we all weren't sure what fields of onions looks like but we seen fields, lol. They have an onion factory that we checked out and had to buy a 5 pound bag of the sweet tasty onions. I wasn't brave enough to sample the onion fudge....none of us were. They even had an air show that we watched and an arts and crafts festival. Some of the items Myriam and I seen we knew we could make at home, famous last words. Did you know that the "in" thing now is to have a purse made out of those capri sun juice boxes?? It's amazing what people can come up with.
It was fun and now we are all going to go see the seafood festival the first weekend in May right here in our own lovely Savannah along the riverwalk :)
I love this time of year....

Sounds like fun...and yes, I have an apple juice box purse, I got it last year at the beach, its the red capri sun type juice box with denim on top with a zipper...its really cute. Also, another "in" thing is purses made out of place mats. I have a couple of those too.
