Living in Savannah

Just the everyday saga of a military family who is living in the beautiful surroundings of Savannah GA. The husband is an MP with previous deployments to Iraq and looking at a medical retirement with the wife going to nursing school full time not to mention they have 3 kids and 3 dogs!

I'm back :)

My computer is fixed! It was the hard drive so Ben and I decided to take a trip to Best Buy. I was expecting to be there for hours but we were in and out in under an hour, miracles happen! We even got a really good deal on it, more memory and faster speed with a 50 dollar rebate :) I even got a Bon Jovi CD, greatest hits, gotta splurge every once in awhile and hey its Bon Jovi!

The kids are taking their Georgia CRCT tests this week. For Caitlin and Matthew it means if they don't pass these tests they don't move on to the next grade. It will be that way for Justin next year. Talk about pressure on these poor kids. I mean its a good thing to make sure all of the kids know what they need to but its almost on the brink of stressing all of them out. Not a good thing!

Ben starts his cortizone shots in his back again this week. It sounds like in about 3 months time he will be going back to get re-evaluated on whether or not they will medically discharge him. The whole thing just scares me, but I know somehow it will work out.

I took my first Anatomy test last week and made a 90 on it! Whew!! That class is really kicking my rear.

Have a great day :)

I am glad that your computer problems are over...it really sucks, I had to replace my hard drive, there was no way that I could get a new computer right now.
hugs,
Kathi
