Just the everyday saga of a military family who is living in the beautiful surroundings of Savannah GA. The husband is an MP with previous deployments to Iraq and looking at a medical retirement with the wife going to nursing school full time not to mention they have 3 kids and 3 dogs!
Ben has been home exactly one year today! It sure has flown by and I am so thankful that he made it home safely for the 3rd time. I remember the excitement I felt waiting for him to come back into my arms. Thank you God for bringing him home to us and continued prayers for the soldiers who are away from home right now. (This is a pic of him while he was over there, guard tower duty)

Newly moved from Savannah GA to the beautiful mountains of Alabama. I've been married 18 years with 3 kids. Caitlin is 17, Justin is 11 and Matthew would have been 14 but we lost him 2 years ago. We have 4 dogs and I'm a nurse with a full plate who is trying to restart a healthier lifestyle.

I think that this is the first time I've seen a picture of Ben. He's very handsome. I just read a previous entry of him remembering the 15 yr anniversary of the day you met. How sweet! I'm glad you have been able to spend this year with him. I wish your family all the happiness in the world and many, many more years of love. :-)

Well, at least i won't be the first one saying this to you...(actually ALL the commenters have...LOL)...Your hubby is a HOTTIE!! HAHA....Of cours ethe gun and the uniform contributes to our eye candy..HAHA...But thats so wonderful that it's been a whole year. I am so happy for you although he won't be home for Easter...But at least he will be bored and safe and only gone 14 days!! HAHA///And YOU get to have the good food and such!!
