Last day of February

Tomorrow is March 1st already! Let's hope that Spring will be here then too. We've had a very cold and rainy weekend. It's looking like today will be more of the same. We took the kids out for breakfast yesterday and already people in Savannah are getting their green out for St. Patricks Day, I've never seen so many green suits on men before, lol. St. Patricks Day in Savannah is a huge undertaking. We have the second largest parade on that day in the United States and the whole month of March is dedicated to celebrating. We even get out of school that day! I had never seen anything like it until we moved here 2 and a half years ago.

I've seen Myriam a couple of times this weekend and as to be expected she is experiencing a lot of lows. I feel so bad for her and wish there was something more I can do. Her kids won't be there next weekend, her soon to be ex husband will have them, so I think Ben and I are going to have her over here for dinner. She found out that Harold, her husband, has been seeing this girl since November. I still don't get it but in the end it is him that is losing out in the biggest way.

We're starting CPR in my Intro to Healthcare class today. We have to be certified in that and in First Aid. Only a few more weeks and I'm done with this semester. I am really ready for it to be over with. I've throughly enjoyed the classes but there is so much homework they are piling on right now.

Justin came up to my yesterday and said mommy you are so pretty and I love you so much, gave me a hug and kiss and went back to playing. Love those moments :)

You all have a great last day of February and think Spring thoughts :)

That was so sweet of Justin!
I hope that you have a good day in class. CPR and first aid are pretty easy, so it should be a relaxed class. I can't believe that its the last day of Feb. either, I didn't even realize it until you said it in your entry.
hugs,
Kathi
