Changes

I know that life is all about changes and how we deal with those changes can either make or break you. Right now we are dealing with a few changes, some good some I'm not so sure about but I know that in the end everything will work out the way its suppose to. I went to church this morning with what felt like a weight on my shoulders. That weight has been there for sometime and somedays it feels like it will never go away. I read a scripture today from Luke 12:22-26 -

I tell you not to worry about your life! Life is more than food and clothing. Look at the crows! They don't plant or harvest, and they don't have storehouses or barns. But God takes care of them. You are much more important than birds. Can worry make you live longer? If you don't have power over small things, why worry about everything else?

As soon as I read that I can feel some of my weight being gone.

I'm glad you are receiving comfort during this trying time. I remember that scripture well. I think it set me free when I first read it. Now, when I begin to worry I think about the here and now. How is my life right this second. Am I fed, clothed? Are my loved ones taken care of. It really puts it all in perspective. Today is taken care of. Don't worry about tomorrow or you'll lose sight of today. :-) ---Robbie
